About this tool

Split PDF turns one document into several. Use custom ranges when you know which sections you need, or split every page when you want each page as its own file. A single output downloads as a PDF; multiple outputs are packaged as a ZIP.

Splitting does not re-flow content: a page is either included or not. Encrypted PDFs must be unlocked first, and page-level form data may be lost when a page is copied into a new file.

Privacy

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your file is read from disk by the page, processed with WebAssembly and JavaScript on your device, and the result is created locally. Nothing is uploaded to a PDFYoga server.

FAQ

What format are the ranges?
Use start-end, one per line, for example 1-3. A single page is written as 5-5 or just 5.
Do I get one file or many?
One range produces one PDF. Two or more produce a ZIP archive.
Does splitting change quality?
No. Pages are copied without re-encoding, so the output matches the source exactly.
Can I split a scanned document?
Yes. Scanned pages are copied like any other page.
